The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed with regard to the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The company issue produced for intervention activities a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
